See all the details at thedailyzu.com.

Cheyenne Baber of the Dolores Public Library will demonstrate a craft for the Cortez Public Library’s Virtual Craftapalooza. Join Cheyenne for a FREE Zoom event at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27. Craft along with Cheyenne while she discusses services and programs that the Dolores Public Library offers.

Have these supplies ready before the event:

Per person:

  • 1 paper towel
  • 1 paper plate
  • 1 cup of water (plastic cup or one that isn’t used for drinking)
  • 1 rectangular canvas board or piece of cardboard (Cheyenne will be using 11”x14”, but any size will work as long as it’s a rectangle)
  • 1 big paint brush (1/2 inch – 1 inch in size)
  • 1 small bottle each of black, white, and purple acrylic paint (.50 each at Walmart, can be shared among several people)

If you would love to do the class, but materials stand in your way, Cheyenne would be happy to provide canvas board, paint brushes, and paint to be picked up at the Dolores Library.

Guess the name of the craft. The first “closest” guess will win a prize, to be delivered curbside.

This event is sponsored by the Library and Growing Readers Together (a Family, Friends and Neighbors grant program under the Buell Foundation and the Colorado State Library).

To register please call the Library at 970-565-8117 by Noon, October 27.
