Love Local Montezuma County Colorado

“Shop Local” is no longer just a bumper-sticker slogan or something we need only promote around the holidays.

Now, more than ever, it is critical that you spend your money where you live.   When you shop where you live, your dollars stay in your community, generating additional transactions spent at other local businesses and sustaining jobs for area residents. Moreover, every time a single dollar is spent here in our county, it generates sales-tax revenue to sustain and improve the public services and amenities we all share.   The Montezuma County Tri-Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Cortez Retail Enhancement Association (CREA) to launch #LoveLocalMontezuma, a hashtag and social-media marketing campaign specifically focused on showcasing area businesses, celebrating the local residents who own, operate, and staff those businesses, and encouraging community members to spend their money locally. #LoveLocalMontezuma publishes “featurettes” about area businesses on Instagram @lovelocalmontezuma and Facebook #LoveLocalMontezuma. We also publish frequest“shop local” educational information and articles that illuminate the benefits of shopping in your own community. Follow us for exciting giveaways, including Cortez Cash! ALL Montezuma County area businesses are invited to register for this FREE “Featured Area Business” promotion. There are no fees involved and no strings attached. Just community. Register for your promotion at https://bit.ly/2AIYP4f
